Sometimes it’s hard to see where you’re headed in the middle of a hike. The underbrush is thick. The trees are dense. The sun is piercing through dark and lime green leaves. You know these woods open eventually, but what awaits you at the other side, you’ve no idea. Could be a beautiful pond or spacious clearing. Or could be an old road or abandoned cab…
